Data deletion instructions
Last updated: 21 April 2026
EcomBase lets you delete your account and any data connected through a third-party platform (Meta / Facebook, Google, Pinterest, TikTok, Shopify, Google Calendar) at any time. This page explains how.
1. Self-service deletion (recommended)
Delete a connected shop
- Sign in to EcomBase at ecombase.ai.
- Go to Shops, find the shop you want to remove.
- Click the
⋯menu → Delete permanently. - Type the shop name to confirm. All products, orders, creatives, campaigns, boards, P&L data and integrations for that shop are purged from our database.
Disconnect an ad platform (Meta, Google, Pinterest, TikTok)
- Go to Shops → the shop → Connected platforms.
- On the platform card, click Disconnect. We immediately revoke the stored OAuth token and delete the synced campaigns and daily metrics.
Delete your entire EcomBase account
- Go to Settings → Danger zone.
- Click Delete account. Your profile, team memberships, connected shops, integration tokens and generated content are removed within 24 hours. Anonymised billing records are retained for 7 years as required by Dutch tax law.
2. Meta / Facebook User Data Deletion
This section is the Data Deletion URL registered with Meta for Facebook Login for Business. It exists so Facebook users can request deletion of the personal data EcomBase obtained from Meta, even if they never signed in to EcomBase directly.
What we receive from Meta
- OAuth access token + token expiry time.
- A list of Ad Accounts, Businesses, and Pages you authorised EcomBase to read.
- Campaign-level metadata and daily performance metrics (spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, revenue) for the ad accounts you connected.
We do not receive your Facebook friends list or your ad audiences.
How to revoke and delete
- In EcomBase, go to Shops → shop → Connected platforms → Meta Ads → Disconnect. This revokes the token we hold and deletes every Meta campaign / metric row we cached. Or,
- Revoke EcomBase directly at Facebook: facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools → find "EcomBase" → Remove. Once Meta notifies us, we destroy the stored token and associated cached data within 24 hours.
- If you no longer have access to your Facebook account or want a manual deletion request, email info@hhsholding.com from the email associated with your Facebook account. Include the subject line Meta data deletion and tell us the Ad Account ID(s) or Facebook page(s) involved. We respond within 30 days (usually within 3 business days).
We acknowledge every manual request with a confirmation code; you can use that code to follow up if needed.
3. Google (Google Ads, Google Calendar, Google Sign-In)
- Disconnect in EcomBase (Shop integrations for Google Ads, Settings → Integrations for Google Calendar).
- Or revoke at Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions.
4. Pinterest & TikTok
- Disconnect in EcomBase on the Shop integrations page — same flow as Meta.
- You can also revoke from the respective platform's developer authorisation settings.
5. Shopify
- In EcomBase: Shops → shop → Disconnect. This clears the stored Shopify access token.
- Alternatively, uninstall the EcomBase app from your Shopify admin: Settings → Apps and sales channels → EcomBase → Uninstall.
6. What happens to the data after deletion
After a deletion request we perform the following within 24 hours:
- Revoke the OAuth token (where the platform supports programmatic revocation).
- Cascade-delete cached rows in PostgreSQL: connections, campaigns, metrics, webhook subscriptions.
- Purge any associated objects in Vercel Blob storage (generated images, uploads).
Encrypted database backups rotate out within 30 days; deleted rows disappear from backups by that time at the latest.
7. Contact
For any deletion question email info@hhsholding.com or write to HHS Holding B.V., the Netherlands. We respond within 30 days.
